take these broken wings & learn to FLY.

I'm sure by now some of you might have wondered what my cover photo is all about. 
Well, it's actually a painting I did on my bedroom wall. 
[Don't mind some of the clutter, apparently the maid called in sick that day.]
A friend of mine once told me to have a "fun" room while I still can, before I get married and have to share & whatnot, & that's exactly what I've tried to do!
Unfortunately (to some degree), I've upgraded to bigger and better bedroom furniture, and my dresser now covers the painting. But, the painting had a pretty long run, and was definitely nice to look at. 
Hopefully my parents will keep it around after I move out, and visitors to the future guest bedroom will be able to enjoy it.

    I love your wall art. I always wanted to do something like that. My parents wouldn't let me so i had to settle for artistic posters instead.

    Thank you! I also have a lot of stuff hanging up, but sometimes that seem to do more damage to your walls than paint! It doesn't have to be painted on to be pretty, I'm sure you've found a lot of nice things to decorate with. :)

    This painting is AMAZING. I think you should be able to have this now or when you are married. I'd LOVE to have that on my wall. It truly is a depiction of who you are. It is also something you are not going to see anywhere else. The important thing is that you are able to go in your room, relax and want to be in there.

    Thank you! :) If not in my own bedroom later in life, hopefully I can contribute artwork to my future kids' rooms to keep them fun and colorful!
